If you would prefer test-driving Match.com before fully buying into the site, then you might be interested in a Match.com Free Trial. It’s a 3-day full use of the site. We wrote a more in-depth post about the details of the Match.com Free Trial, but here is the most important caveat: You’re still going to have to give them your credit card because if you don’t cancel your free trial within the 3 days, then they’re going to charge you for a full membership. If you do decide to go with the free trial, you’ll want to use this link because you can’t just go to the site and sign up for one.
3. Match’s 6-Month Guarantee
The other option available to you is kind of a discount, but not without you paying up front. Match.com offers a 6-month guarantee that states if during your 6-month membership you do not find someone, Match will give you 6 more months for free. There are a lot of hoops you have to jump through to prove to Match.com that you haven’t found someone, but if you read our explanation and follow Match’s demands, you could find yourself with a whopping 6 months free. That is, you know, if the first 6 months didn’t work for you, which would be a bit sad.
