eharmony UK Review :: Is It the Best Option for Me?
In order to determine if eharmony UK is a good fit for you, here are some questions to consider:
How Technological Are You?
Some people struggle with the latest iPhone update or remembering their email password. If you are not terribly tech savvy, then it’s our observation that eharmony UK is somewhat easier to navigate than other leading online dating sites. Several other sites have things like chat rooms, prayer walls, secret admirers, and detailed search options, but eharmony is more simplified and modern. Granted, if you struggle with basic technology, you’ll probably have a little bit of a learning curve with eharmony, but it’ll be easier to figure out than the other sites.
The Verdict: If you’re not tech savvy, go with eharmony UK.
Do You Care About Having a Large Amount of Matches to Choose From?
It stands to reason that the biggest online dating sites are going to have more matches for you to choose from. So if you’re a Christian, and your biggest concern is finding the most Christian online dating matches, eharmony will rank at the top.
Those who live in small towns or out in the country are already at a geographic disadvantage. So using one of the big sites like eharmony or Match.com is ideal because it’s a numbers game. A bigger database=more options for you.
It’s important to note that both sites have inactive members or ones who aren’t paid subscribers. That’s the case with any online dating site. You’ll have to reach out to a match to determine if a match is a current user or not. Even still, your options for finding a like-minded Christian are far greater with a site like eharmony where the sheer number of members are in your favor. The majority of matches you receive should be paying members.
The Verdict: If you want as many matches as you can get, eharmony UK will probably be one of your best options.
Do You Want to See Your Matches Before Setting Up An Account?
You’re going to need to devote some time to an eharmony account set up before you can view any matches. No worries, though. It’s free. But they won’t let you just come in off the street and look around without at least providing some info of your own. And that’s a good thing for the people who are on the site for legitimate reasons, we think.
You’ll need to set aside a good 20 minutes or so to set up your eharmony UK account. Even if you don’t want to pay for your membership, even if you want to just look around the site, you’ll need to take the personality assessment. It’s in this string of questions that you’re able to express how important your faith is to you, how important a match’s faith is, and select denominational preferences. All of these things help the eharmony algorithm understand that you are searching for people who are serious about their relationship with the Lord.
Once you’ve gone through that process, they’ll show you membership plan options as well as introduce you to some matches. Until you pay, you won’t be able to see the matches’ photos, but you can read their profiles.

Do You Need to See the Entire eharmony UK Database?
One of the main ways eharmony is different than other online dating sites is that they don’t allow you to conduct your own independent search of the site. They give you matches based on their algorithm. Many times you’ll get 5-7 daily matches. Then depending on the number of matches available for you, the number of daily matches you receive could lower and you could even have weeks where you don’t receive them daily, but you still get matches over the course of a week.
If you can release a little control, though, you might find that eharmony is really helping you out: You don’t have to spend countless hours looking through matches who aren’t believers. They could be saving you time. Of all of the Christians we hear from who have used online dating and gotten married, the majority of them were using eharmony.
The Verdict: If you feel the need to see every single person who has an account, you’re probably not going to like eharmonyUK.
eharmony UK Review :: How Much Does It Cost?
So all of that stuff about how eharmony works is fine, but the most important thing you probably want to know is how much it’s going to cost to use eharmony, right?
The truth is eharmony is slightly more expensive than the other online dating sites. However, the amount is not astronomical, and since we’ve heard from lots of Christian singles who’ve said they met their spouses on eharmony, we think that increased amount might be a good investment.
The pricing for eharmony can change. It depends on a lot of different factors, but generally, you’re looking at paying less if you commit to more. What that means is, a one-month subscription will run you around £45. However, if you commit to a 6-month membership, your monthly rate would reduce to under £20 a month as low as £10 a month for a 12-month membership.

eharmony UK Review :: Our Recommendation
No online dating site is perfect, not by any stretch of the imagination. They all have their strengths and their weaknesses. But when it comes to finding other like-minded Christians, eharmony seems to make the process a little easier. Sure, not everyone you’re matched with who claims to be a Jesus follower is going to be truly committed to Him, but it’s nice that eharmony wades through all of the potential matches to find more of the ones who could be.
Bottom Line: Despite the fact that we’d prefer it if eharmony UK were a little cheaper, we think it’s money well spent if it helps you find a spouse—or at the very least, a few good dates. Try out eharmony UK for free today.
