Lauren Allred

Lauren Allred’s childhood dream was to be a country music singer or an astronaut—until she read a book about the Challenger explosion. A high school theater teacher for the past 5 years, Lauren considers herself an “accidental teacher.” She trained as a musical theatre performer and director, and in that process discovered she loved seeing potential in a performer and helping them uncover it. Teaching seemed like a natural fit. Lauren still loves to perform and when she’s not running the Theatre Department, you can often find her in rehearsals for a show.
