Looking Back :: Popular Posts from SingleRoots’ First Year

SingleRoots turned 1 yesterday! 365 days, 52 weeks, 12 months. What a fun year it has been! Pass the smash cake, please. None of that cupcake business.

This little online community has been a watershed moment in our individual and collective journeys with Christ. We continue to walk by faith and not by sight and constantly stand amazed at God’s provision in everything from partnerships to finances to friendships. It has truly been an exciting ride.

And thankfully, the ride is still going. We’re presently working on several new projects to launch soon, and we’re looking forward to our first-ever #SRRealLife DFW Meetup in a few weeks.

We’re grateful for every single one of you. No, really. If we could hug each of you we would. And that’s saying a lot because some of us aren’t big on the hugging–especially ones that aren’t of the side hug variety. But we’re not naming any names.

In celebration of our first year of existence, we thought it would be cool to take a look at our best posts so far. With over 300 of them, our new readers might have missed a few before they joined us, and some of our old pals might enjoy a stroll down memory lane. We’re breaking them down by posts with the most comments, most traffic, and our favorite guest posts. Kinda like high school yearbook awards…except not.

Again, thank you for being a part of the SingleRoots community. Thanks for every email you’ve sent, every tweet you’ve retweeted, every comment you’ve made, every post you’ve shared with friends. Just…thank you.

I must say I love this site, I stumbled across during a fit of despair when I googled “Compare eHarmony and Christian Mingle” (thanks mom) and here I found a safe haven for people similar to me…(Clouds open up and rays of sun shine down). I have found so many posts that I can relate to when I often times question “why me???” and when others (mom) say “Maybe you’re just too picky” I say Nay I am normal :) thank you for uplifting my day.

Happy Birthday! I’m so glad to be a part of this community, even if I’ve
been in lurking mode for a while. I’ll have to start thinking up ideas
    for more guest posts…
